Terms of Service
Effective October 14, 2026
- Jurly is a study tool. It can't guarantee any score, and its score estimates don't predict official results.
- Jurly Pro is $20 a month; you're only charged if you subscribe, you can cancel anytime, and payments aren't refunded.
- Use Jurly for your own studying. Don't copy or redistribute its questions, or share your account.
- Jurly isn't affiliated with or endorsed by LSAC, the organization that administers the LSAT.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Jake Roberson ("Jurly," "we," "us"), who operates the Jurly website and app at getjurly.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Who can use Jurly
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may create one account for yourself. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at jake@getjurly.com if you think your account has been compromised.
2. Early access and pricing
Jurly is currently in early access. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the Service may have bugs or interruptions.
Jurly Pro subscription
- Price and billing. Jurly Pro costs $20 per month (plus any applicable tax) and renews automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe. You're only charged if you subscribe at checkout.
- Free tier. Jurly's free tier covers 15 questions a day up to 200 total. The placement test, its results and your account settings stay free.
- Canceling. Cancel anytime in Settings under Manage subscription. You keep access through the end of the billing period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- No refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including for partial months, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Price changes. If we change the price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
3. Educational purpose; no guarantees
Jurly provides practice material and study tools. Score estimates, pacing feedback and recommendations are approximate and for study purposes only. They don't predict your official LSAT score, and we don't promise any particular score, score improvement, or admission outcome. Jurly isn't legal, academic or admissions advice.
4. Not affiliated with LSAC
LSAT and LawHub are registered trademarks of the Law School Admission Council, Inc. ("LSAC"). Jurly is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by LSAC. All questions, passages and practice tests in Jurly are original material written for Jurly.
5. Our content and your license
The Service, including its questions, passages, explanations, lessons, software and design, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial test preparation. You may not:
- copy, publish, sell or redistribute Jurly's questions, explanations or other content, or use them to build a competing product or train AI models;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service, or access it through automated means except as we allow;
- share your account or let others use it;
- try to get around usage limits or security measures, or interfere with the Service or other users;
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to send harmful, abusive or infringing material through its AI features.
6. Your content
You own the essays, notes and messages you create in Jurly ("Your Content"). You give us permission to store, process and display Your Content, and to send it to our service providers, only as needed to operate and improve the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to submit it.
7. AI features
Some features use artificial intelligence, including the tutor and essay feedback. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Use your own judgment. AI features have daily usage limits that we may change.
8. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Jurly at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if needed to protect the Service or others, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue the Service, we'll try to give you reasonable notice so you can download your progress. Sections 3 through 6 and 10 through 13 continue to apply after your use ends.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any content, including answer keys, explanations and score estimates, is free of errors.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, data, opportunities or test results, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
If you misuse the Service or break these Terms and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court instead.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll update the effective date and tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Other terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them as part of a transfer of the Service.
